      Enriched Long Grain Rice [rice, Niacin, Iron (ferric Orthophosphate), Thiamin (thiamin Mononitrate), Folic Acid].

      To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or drain after cooking.

      Directions on the Stove: 1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. (Cooking Measurement Chart: For drier rice, use 1/4 cup less water. For moister rice, use 1/4 cup more water. Rice: 1 cup taza; Water: 2 cups; Yield: 6 cups; Servings 3/4 cup cooked: 4. Rice: 2 cups taza; Water: 4 cups; Yield: 6 cups; Servings 3/4 cup cooked: 8. Rice: 3 cups taza; Water: 6 cups; Yield: 9 cups; Servings 3/4 cup cooked: 12). 2. Stir in rice. (Add 1 tbsp butter and 1 tsp salt per cup of uncooked rice, if desired). 3. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Cooking Directions in the Microwave (It is recommended that only 1 cup rice be prepared in the microwave at a time. Microwave oven vary. Cooking times are approximate).
